SwiftRoute Cuts Average Delivery Times by 38% Using Proprietary AI Route Optimisation Engine

SwiftRoute Logistics today published the results of a 12-month performance review following the full network-wide rollout of RouteAI, its proprietary artificial intelligence route optimisation engine.

Key findings:

• 38% reduction in average delivery time across 2.3 million monthly deliveries
• 22% reduction in fuel consumption per parcel, driven by optimised multi-stop sequencing
• 94.7% on-time delivery rate, up from 81.2% pre-rollout
• 15% reduction in failed delivery attempts through predictive time-window modelling

RouteAI processes 40 real-time data inputs per delivery — including live traffic, weather, driver performance history, parcel dimensions and weight, and recipient behaviour patterns — to continuously recalculate optimal routes throughout the delivery day.
