LearnSphere Raises €45M to Expand AI-Powered Professional Skills Platform Across EMEA
LearnSphere has closed a €45 million growth equity round to accelerate expansion of its AI-personalised professional development platform across the Middle East and Africa.
LearnSphere, a professional skills and leadership development platform, today announced the closing of a €45 million growth equity round led by Index Ventures, with participation from Owl Ventures and existing investor Balderton Capital.
The funding will be used to expand LearnSphere’s operations into the UAE, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, and Kenya — four markets identified as having significant unmet demand for high-quality digital professional development — and to accelerate the development of its AI personalisation engine.
LearnSphere’s platform currently serves 2.3 million learners across 47 countries, with a content library of over 18,000 courses spanning leadership, management, data, AI, and technology skills. The company’s AI engine adapts each learner’s development pathway based on role, industry, skill gaps, and learning pace.
“Professional development has historically been a luxury for those who can afford business school or corporate training programmes,” said CEO Mattias Lindqvist. “LearnSphere makes world-class skills development accessible to anyone with a smartphone.”
The company expects to reach 5 million learners globally by end of 2026.
About LearnSphere LearnSphere is a professional development platform headquartered in Stockholm, serving individual learners, teams, and enterprise clients across 47 countries.
